Puppy School | 4-week course

This 4-week group course is the best way to get your puppy and your household started on the right track. In this class you will learn the tools and techniques to develop a healthy relationship with your pup, establish acceptable behaviors, discourage and break bad behaviors, and handle your dog in various situations and environments.

• Household behaviors

• Socialization

• Obedience

• Impulse Control

• Leash manners

Schedule:

Week 1 -

• Dog Training Theory

• House Breaking

• House Manners; mouthing and barking

• Control of resources: food, toys, space, and attention

• Crate training

• Socialization

• Settle

Week 2 -

• Sit / Down / Stay with Release

• Place

• Leave-it / Out

Week 3 -

• Recall

• Touch

• Impulse Control

• Distance, Distractions, Duration

Week 4 - 

• Leash Manners

• Greetings

• Barriers (Doors & Stairs)

IMPORTANT:

• Class is limited to 10 puppies.

• All puppies must have age appropriate vaccinations to participate.

• The class fee is non-refundable, non-transferable and there are no make-up classes.
