About the class
Our Impulse Control Class is for dogs that struggle with making good decisions. This fun and engaging course helps dogs learn to stay calm, resist distractions, and make better choices in exciting situations. Perfect for dogs of all ages, but more effective if you’ve taken our Introduction to Dog Training and Practical Obedience courses (LECA 101 and 102), this class covers skills ignoring temptations and responding reliably to cues. Each session combines practical exercises, games, and real-world scenarios to build your dog’s self-control and strengthen your bond.
This course emulates the rigorous training programs designed for professional dog trainers, providing owners with the practical knowledge and skills necessary for effective communication, impulse control management, and the cultivation of a strong, mutually beneficial human-canine bond.
